Motorcycle leather suit crash test at 180 mph

We got our hands on Oliver König's #52 leather motorcycle suit in which he crashed at 298 km/h in the WSBK World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island.

What did Oliver tell us about it? "This is what happens when your gearbox falls apart on the final stretch." Oliver fortunately did not break up in the fall thanks to our suit, which held him up in a few hot moments. As you can see from the photos, all the seams have held up because we use our patented safety seam in the exposed areas. The leather on the elbows and in the back held up thanks to the construction of the motorcycle suit, which withstood the fall and subsequent sanding on asphalt and gravel. It is only torn in places where the hard edges of the airbag vest are attached to it. The race suit otherwise stays intact.

Any customer can have quality motorcycle suit that Oliver and other professional racers fall in WSBK, IDM or MotoAmerica championships. We do not differentiate between suits for professional riders and customers in the production. We play fair.

König's crash was a reminder of the importance of wearing proper safety motorcycle suit when riding a motorcycle. 4SR's leather suits provide riders with the protection they need to stay safe in the event of an accident.
