Where can I try on 4SR gear?
You can try on 4SR gear in person at our own stores in Bošilec and Prague, or at one of our authorized dealers across the Czech Republic. You'll find the full list of stores and dealers, including addresses, here.
How do I choose the right size?
When ordering through our store, always go by the measurements and guidance in the "Size Chart" tab on the product page.
How do you know the fit is right?
- In general: The gear or gloves don't pinch, the protectors sit firmly in place, and you feel comfortable.
- For leather: Go tighter. Leather gear or a suit needs to fit very snugly at first — with wear and riding, the leather relaxes slightly and molds fully to your body.
Can gear be repaired after a crash?
Yes. All 4SR leather gear can be repaired through our warranty and post-warranty service. The scope of the repair and its cost always depend on the extent of the damage.
To start repairs as quickly as possible, we only accept clean gear for service.
Does 4SR offer custom-made suits?
Yes, we make leather jackets, trousers, and two-piece and one-piece race suits to measure. We know firsthand how important a perfect fit is. That's why we build every piece around each rider's individual body proportions. Colorway and overall design go hand in hand with this — we can produce any color combination and style, including sponsor logos, your name, and race number. All details can be done as printing, leather logos, patches, or laser engraving.
How long does custom-made production take?
Production time varies by product type, the scope of customization, and our current workload.
If you'd like an estimated production time before ordering, feel free to contact us at vyroba@4sr.cz. We're happy to share current information.
Once we receive your order, we'll contact you with an expected production timeline and keep you updated on its status.
How do I care for 4SR gear?
Proper care extends the life of your motorcycle gear and keeps its performance intact.
- Leather gear: Clean with lukewarm soapy water and a soft cloth. We recommend removing dirt as soon as possible after a ride. Let gear air-dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Treat glossy leather regularly with a leather balm; on matte leather, use only an impregnation spray.
- Textile gear: Clean according to the care label. Don't machine-wash jackets or trousers, to avoid damaging the waterproof membrane. Only the removable thermal liner can go in the washing machine.
- Kevlar jeans: Once all protectors are removed, these can be gently machine-washed at 30°C.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade colors. Protect fine leather from sharp objects and rough surfaces. With light-colored leather gear, we recommend avoiding contact with dark denim, which can transfer color.
If your gear gets damaged, or you're unsure about the right way to care for it, feel free to contact us. We're happy to advise on care and any repairs.
Email us at vyroba@4sr.cz and we'll send you the design templates and further details right away. The final price depends on the complexity of the design and how it's produced.
What protectors does 4SR use, and are they adjustable?
What protectors does 4SR use, and are they adjustable?
Safety is our priority. That's why we don't make our own protectors — we rely on top-tier protectors from renowned European manufacturers Betac and Pro-Life, which meet the highest safety standards.
On all 4SR kevlar and leather trousers (except the TR 2 model), the knee protectors are height-adjustable via hook-and-loop straps, so you can easily fine-tune their position for maximum comfort and protection.
Selected models are also fitted with our patented AFS (Armor Fixation System) knee protector mount, which helps keep the protector in the correct position during riding or a crash, boosting both protection and comfort.
You'll always find details on the protectors and safety features used in a specific product under the "Comfort & Safety" tab on the product page.
