Within the British Superbike Championship BSB, we asked our riders two simple questions.
Why do you race specifically in the BSB championship and why do you wear the 4SR brand? Their answers speak for themselves.
The first to answer our questions was McAMS Yamaha rider James Ellison. "For me, BSB superbikes are like the elite of the elite," he said. "Over the years, I've worn various suit brands in various championships. I've been riding in 4SR for several years and haven't always been able to stay with this brand. But I've always come back, and I can say this is the best suit I've ever worn in my career. Especially the new model with the plate sliders on the shoulders and elbows has a great fit, I feel safe. Superbikes are the most dangerous bikes, and the 4SR suit is the only one where after a crash I have no injuries, I can get up and walk away. For me, 4SR is number 1."
Billy McConnell answered: "What could be more fun than riding on the best circuits in Britain on a bike with 210 horsepower. No traction control, no launch control, it's a massacre. And why did I choose 4SR? Because life is too short to ride in a crappy suit."
"I race BSB because I think it's the best championship. We race on amazing tracks like Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Oulton Park, the bikes are also amazing, sliding and on the rear wheel. In the championship, we have the 20 best riders in the world, it's a great challenge and I really enjoy it here. I wear a 4SR suit because safety is very important to me. I feel safe in case of a crash. The quality of the leather is very good and I'm very happy to be part of 4SR," said James Westmoreland, rider for the Gearlink Kawasaki team.
"The reason I love racing is the speed, the passion, and riding in the slipstream. Especially at the North West 200, where we ride at 200 miles per hour. I can't enjoy this more anywhere else in the world. Here in BSB, I love riding on the edge, elbow to elbow and close racing. That's what I get up for in the morning and what I live for. I wear 4SR because I truly believe in the qualities of their products. I've crashed in the suit several times and it has protected me very well. I was particularly impressed with the construction in the knee area, which is very well padded and protected, yet still comfortable. I definitely want to continue working with 4SR, I'm very satisfied," said Alastair Seeley, holder of the record for most wins at the North West 200.
