About Us
We're a Czech company building stylish, functional motorcycle gear of the highest quality.
We're active riders and racers ourselves, so every part of the design, materials, development, and testing stays under our own control. Our own experience on the bike guides everything we do.
Make Your Track Days Better
Founded 2007

WHO WE ARE
Ing. Václav Jiruš (owner of the 4SR brand, die-hard rider, the fastest leather-clad racer in the country)
"At twelve, a buddy gave me a ride on his Pařez moped, and my dad sealed the deal a year later with a ride on his six-cylinder CBX1100. That power, that roaring engine, that speed! From that moment I knew this was what my life was about. My dad handed me down a small moped to start wrenching on, tuning it to actually move. Then came a Honda NSR125. Fourteen days later I'd put it straight into a tree.
I'm a classic post-revolution kid who wanted to make a dream come true. So while I was still in school I cleaned offices, washed windows at a gas station from seven in the morning to seven at night, and slowly saved up for my first real machine. That turned out to be a Suzuki RF600R in Ferrari Testarossa colours — red, beautiful. I brought it over crashed from Germany and spent almost nine months putting it back together. For a while I even imported bikes from abroad, which meant nights and weekends, but at least I wasn't relying on my parents for money.

Already in university I realised I didn't want to spend all my free time in the garage wrenching, so I started thinking about what else I could do.
When I looked around at the options, I noticed something interesting. In Germany, motorcycle gear was far easier to find than back home. Here, everything was expensive and the choice was limited. So I went into business in this field. The brand wasn't mine — I was trying to break through with an unknown brand from the East at the time. The early days were tough; honestly, every shop I walked into laughed me out the door. Over time sales picked up, largely thanks to the online store. Back then I was the first to describe a product in real detail on a website, its features and how it actually performed. But I wanted to create something new, to develop my own gear. The brand I worked with at the time had a different business strategy — they wanted to manufacture as much as possible and have me sell it. I didn't like that. I wanted a say in the development, the function of the product, and the materials used.

I dreamed of my own brand, so I created For Street Racing. I never imagined riders in WSBK or BSB would race in my leathers, or that people all over the world would wear what I made! Bringing your own hide to market — literally — was hard. Everything has to be worked out down to the last detail, and only what I genuinely understood and enjoyed could succeed. It's a long road, and you have to enjoy every small step along the way."
FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE

"Anyone who catches the bug for bikes and loves motorcycle racing wants to race. Of course it's an expensive hobby, so it took a while before I could afford my own entry fee at the Hungaroring. No experience, no sense. I went out on track and it was a real wake-up call — right after I properly wrecked myself. We patched the bike back together and I finished that race weekend in eighth place, which hooked me completely. Over the years I've had more small crashes than I can count, and that experience fed directly into developing our suits. In 2009 I broke both ankles at that same circuit; a year later at the Slovakiaring I wrote off a brand-new BMW S 1000RR and broke my femur. That was the end of racing for me. I got to find out what winning feels like, what it's like to ride fast, but also how much it hurts and what you have to be willing to sacrifice. To this day I admire everyone who races, especially at a professional level."
DEVELOPMENT
Feedback from professional racers is the most valuable input we get. These riders operate right at the limit, somewhere none of the rest of us will ever get close to. There's no room for compromise in that world. That's why we work closely with riders from BSB, WSBK, and EWC on development, and apply everything we learn directly to production. 4SR runs a single model line of one-piece and two-piece suits that we've been continuously refining for over 15 years! Even though our suits look broadly the same from batch to batch, every new production run carries small improvements.

WE PLAY FAIR
We don't like the idea that world-class racers wear top-tier gear that an everyday rider can never get their hands on. We decided not to draw a line between our standard production and the race suits worn by factory riders. We use the same processes, patterns, materials, and protectors across the board. We play fair, so unlike many brands, we don't make stripped-down, budget model lines of suits.

DESIGN
4SR's styling is rooted in road-racing and street-riding culture. But we also know how much individuality matters to every rider. That's why we're able to accommodate each customer's wishes and build a design around their own concept.
If putting your idea into a design gives you trouble, just describe what you have in mind and we'll prepare the artwork for you.
All details and logos can be produced as print, leather logos, patches, or laser engraving.
When building custom motorcycle gear to order, it's not just the leather colour that can be adjusted, but also its final surface finish, which is carried out at the tannery.
The plastic shoulder sliders included on our racing suits and jackets can be changed to any of the currently offered colours as part of a custom order. We currently offer 9 of them.
Custom Motorcycle Gear
Make your dream a reality and have a race suit, a perfectly fitted leather jacket, or trousers made to your own measurements. A perfect cut goes hand in hand with the colour scheme and overall design, which can be made in any colour combination and style you like — including sponsor logos, name, and number. Or maybe you'd like a replica of your favourite racer's suit?
