Forget the myths and prejudices.
We have prepared a short article for all riders who want to switch to the "textile side of the force".
"A LEATHER JACKET IS HOT..." > WRONG!
"A LEATHER JACKET IS HEAVY..." > ONLY AT FIRST GLANCE!
"TEXTILE IS JUST AS SAFE AS LEATHER..." > IT IS NOT.
It sounds nice, but the reality on the race track and on the road is clear: leather has no competition. Over 15 years of experience with crashes in world road motorcycle championships confirms it: no other material combines strength, elasticity and durability the way leather does.
All synthetic materials involve compromises — you either lose strength, flexibility or longevity. Leather is the only material where no concessions are made. That is why it is the number-one choice wherever safety, comfort and timelessness matter.
OUR EXPERIENCE?
LEATHER ALWAYS FINDS ITS WAY.
From experience we know that most beginner riders first consider a textile jacket. It is light, often cheaper and comfortable at first glance. But as the kilometres add up — and unfortunately sometimes after the first crash — the perspective changes. The second choice is no longer about looks or price, but about real-world protection and performance in traffic. A leather jacket provides a several times higher level of protection, holds its shape better, is more stable in the wind and provides greater comfort on longer rides. That is why the majority of motorcyclists come back to it sooner or later.
...AND YOU? WILL YOU TAKE THE LONG WAY ROUND?
